 Alfina's Daily Activity

On November 14^th until 15^th 2012, There was a fieldwork practice that actually had been planned since two months ago. This activity included discussing history course and culture of the people on the Kawi Mount. This event was coincidet with the celebration of the new year of Islam or we usually call it 1 Suro. At 07.33 am we headed to the Kawi Mount, the road was relatively not crowded, so we could arrive at 11 am. Unfortunately, we had to use public transportation to get there, finally we arrived there at 11.18 am. After that, we had a lunch and then instantly we made a framework of the paper which have to be presented to Mr. Edwin and finally we finished it at 2 pm. After being approved by Mr. Edwin we decided to go down to the field to examine and analyze the activities of people around the Kawi Mount because our paper was about acculturation between Balinese and Kawi's culture of the existence of Sangkala. We finished at 5 pm, and then we went up to our room to take a shower, and worked on our paper. After that we went to have a dinner. At 7 pm Rahma, Dio and I went to the production place of Sangkala to see the process of Sangkala-making before it would be burned the next day, we also interviewed the creator of Sangkala, and then we took a picture with the creator of Sangkala. In the evening at 9 pm, we went to tourism places on Kawi Mount in order to know more about the condition of the tourism place and its surrounding on the night. At 11 pm we returned to our room to work on our paper again, and finally went to bed at 11.15 pm.

On November 15^th 2012 in the morning, I took a bath after waking up at 8 am. After that, I decided to continue on making our paper then at 10 am I got ready for the fieldwork and ready to see the parade of Suroan celebration. This event was important for our paper. The highlight of the event that I couldn't be missed was the Sangkala burning near the tourism place. This event was amazingly presented with the awesome stage setting. After the event finished, rain poured down therefore my friend and I ran through the rain up to our inn although I had to stop by at some places to buy sweet potatoes for my mother. At 4 pm I took a late lunch immediately. And then I went to my room to take a shower and made a report about today's activities to Mr. Edwin. After that, We prepared ourselves to go back to Surabaya. At 5 pm our bus departed to Surabaya and we finally arrived at 7 pm. I went home at 9 pm and took a rest because I was very tired.

On November 16^th 2012, I woke up late today, because yesterday I was very tired after the fieldwork practice on the Kawi Mount. I woke up at 9 am and then I helped my mom cooking in the kitchen then took a bath, all finished at around 11 am. After that, I went to Rahma's house to work on papers of the study tour of Kawi Mount with my group. I arrived at Rahma's house at arround 11.15 am and decided to finish our papers at 4 pm. Because I was hungry, I went to see Astor, My friend, in the Oui Cafe and had a meal. I arrived in the Oui Cafe at 04.15 pm and I immediately ate and had chat wit my friend. We finished at 8 pm, I went to the campus to pick up my sister who worked on her assignments with her friends. Finally, we got home at 08.45 pm, and then I took a shower and went to sleep at 09.30 pm.

On November 17^th 2012, At 6 am I woke up and took a shower, then had a breakfast and got ready to go to campus. That day was the continuation of the last PPKMB. At 7 am I left home by motorcycle and arrived campus promptly at 07.30. I attended the PPKMB from the start till the end at 12.30, After it I went to the Oui Cafe with my friends to continue working on papers of Kawi, from content to the conclusion, which must be collected on Monday. We did it seriously. We decided to finish it and ready to go home at 8 pm. After that, I picked up my sister in campus and got home at 9 pm, then took a bath and went to bed.

On November 18^th 2012, Not much different from Saturday I woke up at 6 am and took a shower, then had a breakfast and got ready to go to campus. That day was the continuation of the last PPKMB. This was hosted by Indonesia Reborn, it was more different, more exciting and more interesting than PPKMB before, There I was taught how to determine the nature or character of a person by the way the person was walking, viewing, sitting, and talking. Softskill training began at 8 am until 4 pm. There were two coffee breaks and a free lunch once, I followed it up with totality. It was very important moment i could feel and couldn't be expressed by words. The event was closed by the arrival of the parents of each participant, The peak of the event was ESQ and 'sungkeman' for participants and parents. This event gave many good impressions and precious moment until now. At 5 pm, My friends and I continued working on paper reports of Kawi Mount for the last time, in the Mc Donalds Basuki Rahmat till 09.30 pm. After finished we returned to our house, took a shower, and went to bed at 10 pm.

This is my daily activities, strating on 14^th November until 18^th November 2012. Assalamualaikum.
